Discover how passengers benefit from enhanced connectivity, loyalty rewards and seamless travel
DUBAI – Emirates and flydubai continue to set industry benchmarks with their partnership, offering travellers seamless connectivity and rewarding experiences across an ever-expanding network.
Since the collaboration began, millions of passengers have benefited from enhanced loyalty programmes, streamlined travel processes, and elevated cabin experiences.
The airlines’ joint efforts aim to make journeys simpler, more comfortable, and more rewarding, whether flying for business or leisure.
Here are 8 ways travellers are enjoying the benefits of the Emirates-flydubai partnership in 2025:
Expansive network access
Together, Emirates and flydubai operate a combined network of 245 destinations across 103 countries. Passengers can explore popular locations such as Kathmandu, Baku, Krabi, Belgrade and Zanzibar, opening new horizons for leisure and business travel.
More destinations for passengers
Emirates customers gain access to 103 flydubai destinations, while flydubai passengers can fly to 107 Emirates destinations. The 2025 additions include Emirates’ Hangzhou, Shenzhen, Siem Reap and Da Nang, alongside flydubai’s Chisinau, Iasi, Vilnius, Riga and Nairobi.
Record passenger growth
Over 5 million passengers travelled on codeshare flights last year alone, representing a 10% increase from the previous year. Since 2017, more than 22 million travellers have flown across the joint network, demonstrating strong growth in demand.
Premium comfort and cabin choice
Passengers are choosing premium experiences more than ever. Emirates’ bookings for First, Business and Premium Economy cabins rose by 20%, with Premium Economy alone growing by 130%. flydubai Business Class also offers personalised Meet and Assist services, priority security and dedicated check-in at Terminal 2.
Streamlined travel experience
The partnership ensures smoother journeys through optimised schedules, baggage transfer and check-in procedures. Emirates passengers enjoy access via Terminal 3 in Dubai, while flydubai Business Class passengers benefit from a dedicated check-in area, Fast Track security and personalised services.
Loyalty rewards through Skywards
Emirates Skywards members continue to enjoy one loyalty currency across both airlines. Nearly 18 million members have earned 311 billion Skywards Miles and redeemed 303 billion. Platinum, Gold and Silver members also gain additional privileges, including lounge access, extra baggage and priority check-in.
Classic Rewards and Cash+Miles
The Classic Rewards programme allows members to book flights from as low as 5,000 Skywards Miles to over 130 destinations, including seasonal favourites such as Mykonos, Bodrum and Olbia. With the enhanced Cash+Miles option on flydubai, members can receive Dh 100 off tickets for only 3,500 Skywards Miles.
Fleet modernisation and service enhancements
Emirates’ extensive retrofit programme has upgraded nearly 220 aircraft, including new Premium Economy cabins, while flydubai has modernised 15 aircraft in 2025 and launched a dedicated Business Class check-in at Terminal 2. Together, the airlines operate 363 modern aircraft, supporting Dubai’s D33 Economic Agenda goal of a 400-destination network.
